CHRISTIANITY AND FAITH        

Have you ever wondered if an impossible thing can be made possible? I am not talking about the “Church belief”. What I am talking about is deep conviction within you. Do you really believe that those things that are beyond every human logic and reasoning can actually be made possible? I am talking about FAITH. The Bible makes me to understand that if I have faith like that of a mustard seed (imaging how small a mustard seed is), that I can move mountain. Many of us only believe within the peripheral region of our heart/mind, but deep within you, do you really believe that that husband or wife, job or vocation you wish for can be attained someday?

Do you believe that despite the fact that your bank account reads not more than fifty thousand naira, you can still wed this year? Do you believe that despite the fact the doctor has  pronounced your ailment incurable (but manageable); you can still have a divine healing? Do you believe that despite the fact you committed an abominable sin, you can be completely cleansed by His blood?

Many people have adopted the attitude of accepting whatever life brings their way. According to them “It’s the will of God”. Yes it’s the will of God, but do you know what the will of God for you is? He said in His word that He wishes above all things thing that we prosper, even as our soul prospereth. But you need to have faith in His word and His promises, even when trials and tribulation rear their ugly heads.

I enjoin you to remove from your mentality, that sense of impossibility and hopelessness, believe in trial (because that test our faith), but above all, believe in overcoming and conquering through Christ our Lord.
