FRSC BOSS APPLAUDS ABC TRANSPORT'S SERVICES
The Zonal Commander, FRSC, Zone 2, Ikeja, Lagos, Mr. Eloka O. Anyaoku has expressed satisfaction with the sterling services of ABC Transport, while commending the company for organizing a week-long 2006 Accident-Free Campaign in the federation. This commendation came at the ABC Transport 2006 Productivity Enhancement/Accident-Free Campaign. Mr. Anyaoku stated that ABC Transport is noted for safety and comfort, and he advised other transport operators to emulate ABC Transport. He urged Management to look at the welfare of drivers to encourage full concentration while driving. He forewarned drivers to be defensive while driving and ensure good maintenance of vehicle.

The Accident-Free Campaign, which was held on November 13, 2006, at the Osun Hall of Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, attracted dignitaries from the National Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria such as Alhaji Aminu Yusuf; Mr. Adebayo A.O. represented the Chief Vehicle Inspection, T.W. Giwa, LASTMA, Lagos; Mr. Habila Joshail, represented the Honorable Commissioner of Police; Mr. Olumide Obayomi of Capital Alliance, and the press corps. Other personalities included the top management of ABC Transport.
The Chairman of the occasion, Alhaji Aminu Yusuf, highlighted the excellent services received from ABC Transport, and extolled safety as the watchword of drivers. The Managing Director, ABC Transport, Mr. Frank Nneji, OON, made emphasis on why the 2006 slogan was tagged: “Attitude is Everything” and asserted that ABC Transport has always promoted safe driving through the constant training and re-training of drivers and crew. He pleaded with the Federal Government to look seriously into the deplorable state of roads in Nigeria, notably the Sagamu/Ore/Benin roads.
The high point of the event was the decoration of drivers and attendants with the Accident- Free Campaign badge. 25 drivers and 13 attendants attended the first day of the campaign. Others on the roads would later get opportunity to attend pep talks with certain management staff. Mr. Tony Blavo, on behalf of the driving crew, showed appreciation to the Management of ABC Transport for its relentless efforts towards safety; he pledged that they would try their possible best not to record any accidents in the company.
