ONITSHA ULTRA-MODERN TERMINAL COMMENCES OPERATIONS
AND ABC EXPANDS EASTERN OPERATIONS
As part of the terminal expansion projections for 2007, operations in the new Onitsha ultra-modern terminal has commenced. The new Onitsha ultra-modern terminal is located along the Onitsha-Asaba Expressway, opposite Ogbaru Main Market, Upper Iweka Fly-over, Onitsha, Anambra State. Like the other prototype ABC ultra-modern terminals, the Onitsha terminal boasts of:
- Spacious passenger lounge with entertainment facilities and proper seating arrangements.
- A roofed loading bay with departure and arrival points.
- Consolidated cargo handling facilities
- Parking space for customers’ vehicles/car hire pavilion
- Full security network, both electronic and human security
- Super market, cafeteria, business centre, vendors’ shop and book stand
- Stand-by generator
The Onitsha ultra-modern terminal will originate services to the Northern and Western parts of Nigeria. This terminal is the sixth ultra modern terminal of ABC Transport.
ABC Transport Expands Eastern Operations; Explores New Routes
Aba and Umuahia terminals now operate direct services to Abuja. Buses will depart from Aba to Abuja every 7:30 am daily, without combining with Owerri passengers. The same goes for Abuja-bound passengers traveling from Umuahia whose departure schedule is now 8:15 am daily.
